Challenge
Airline booking systems need secure auth, reliable payments, and consistent state across many independent services.
Architecture
Built a full-stack microservices platform with Spring Boot and React.js, covering flight search, seat availability, fare management, booking workflow, and payment integration.
Outcome
Implemented JWT-based authentication, role-based access control, and Redis-backed token revocation, with Spring Cloud Gateway, Eureka, OpenFeign, and Resilience4j for service discovery, routing, and fault tolerance, all containerized with Docker Compose.
Challenge
Users need a secure way to upload, retrieve, and manage files with proper access control.
Architecture
Built RESTful backend services with Spring Boot integrated with a responsive React.js frontend, with MongoDB collections designed for efficient file metadata storage.
Tradeoffs
Chose MongoDB for flexible metadata schemas over a rigid relational structure to keep file access management simple to extend.
Outcome
Deployed the application on AWS EC2, ensuring secure, authenticated access and reliable availability.
